Olga Bolgari enjoyed a diverse musical education in Moldavia and in Austria/Vienna. She studied Opera and Operetta at the Vienna Conservatory, Musicology at University of Vienna and Vocal Education at the University of Music Vienna. She holds a Master’s degree in Opera and Musicology. Mrs. Bolgari was awarded a special prize at the “Ferruccio Taglavini” Competition and received the Mentor´s prize at the “Heinrich Strecker Operetta Competition”.
Since 1997 she has worked internationally as a concert and opera singer. Mrs. Bolgari performed Oratorios, Concert Arias, German (as well as Viennese) Lieder and baroque Programmes with various ensembles in Italy, Argentina, Mexico, USA, France, Portugal, Cyprus, Germany, Latvia and Austria. She was engaged at the “Neue Oper Wien” and staged the Queen of the Night (Die Zauberflöte), Arsena (The Gypsy Baron), Fire and Nightingale (L’Enfant et les Sortilèges). Olga Bolgari interpreted the Soprano-Solo in Brahms “German Requiem” touring Portugal, and the Soprano-Solo of Gustav Mahler´s 4. Symphony in Mexico. She sang “Four Last Songs” by Richard Strauss at Kairo State Opera and performed Mozart’s “Requiem” and Haydn’s “The Seasons” in Paris. During 2009 to 2011 she was an Ensemble member at the Municipal Theatre of Baden. Since 2012 she is lecturing classical and musical stage Students at the Vienna Conservatory and actively develops her holistic voice system, using a combination of traditional belcanto, artistic experiences and Yoga/Qi Gong principles. Simultaneously she started as the artistic director of Vienna based Chorus Millcanto. In 2016 she became co-founder of the Musikinstitut Wien, where she participates in the international ensemble “The Universe of Voice” focusing on the symbiosis of classic and modern music.

Родилась в столице Молдавии, после первых курсов Кишинёвской консерватории переехала в Вену/Австрия. Закончила в Вене три ВУЗа: Государственный Университет Музыки по преподаванию вокала, Государственный Университет Вены по музыковедению и Венскую Городскую Консерваторию по классу оперы и оперетты.
С 1997 по 2009 она выступала во многих странах мира как солистка оркестров, и учавствовала в проэктах Новой Венской Оперы. С 2009 по 2012 она пела в Театре города Баден, под Веной, который ставит не только оперы и оперетты, но и мюзиклы. С 2013 она преподаёт вокал в Венской Консерватории и проводит открытые классы по своей методике целостного развития голоса во многих странах. В 2016 она участвовала в основании Музыкального Института Вены совместно с композитором и виолончеллистом Петером Иллавским.

Целостность и динамичность, достижение максимальной свободы голоса, выразительности и точности в исполнении произведений

Peter Illavsky was born in Vienna and was a member of the Vienna Boys Choir. He studied cello in Austria, Italy and USA with famous teachers like Emmanuel Brabec (former 1st chair Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra), Valentin Erben (Cello Alban-Berg-Quartett, Vienna), Amedeo Baldovino (Trio di Trieste, Firenze, Italy) and Mstislaw Rostropovich. At age 19 he was already member of the Austrian Radio Orchestra and played during 4 years at the Arena di Verona (Italy). in 1991 he accepted the invitation of the National Orchestra of South Africa to become the Principal Cello and together with Nobel Prize-winner N.Gordimer he had a brilliant concert at Johannesburg Art Gallery in a recital with Beethoven Sonatas and he had several solo appearances at the Johannesburg Town Hall. During 1993 and 1994 he worked artistically in Los Angeles where he gave a highly acclaimed solocello recital at the Hancock-Auditorium. He performed with the Santa Barbara Symphony, the Riverside Symphony, the Ventura County Symphony and worked in Studio recordings for Barbara Streisand, the group Chicago and Walt-Disney Studios. In 1994 he received an invitation by Juventudes Musicales of Spain to lecture a cello-masterclass in Barcelona to replace the famous Ivan Monighetti. The success of this masterclass brought him engagements with the Orchestra of Cadiz, Orchestra of Granada, Orchestra of Malaga, Orchestra of San Sebastian where he played a large number of baroque, romantic and contemporary cello concertos. During his stay in Spain Mr. Illavsky started composing and wrote his first pieces for his own unique instrument, the Baricello – combination of his own baritone voice and cello. In 1997 he performed the Premiere of the contemporary cello concerto by Ivan Eröd with Orchestra at the Wiener Konzerthaus. The critics mentioned especially the fact that Mr. Illavsky played the Solopart entirely from memory. In 2007 he became a member of the Dresden Philharmonic Quartett playing a big number of international concerts and leading until now the Music Institute in Dresden/Germany. In 2013-2015 he recorded a big number of CD´s with viennese, spanish and romantic programmes from his own one-man-show “Me and my Cello” where he is playing, singing and moderating. Since 2016 Peter Illavsky is leading the Musik Institut Wien.
CONTENTS of the Masterclasses:
This class is aimed for cellists who wish to learn more about the style of interpreting classical viennese music, music of the romantic era and the contemporary style of cello playing. There is also an introduction to free improvisational playing. The course also focuses on bowing-techniques. Cellists will enjoy Solo and Ensemble classes, Final concert and Diploma. Musical Repertoire from Vienna: Mozart, Schubert, J.Strauss. Musical repertoire of the romantic era: J. Brahms, R. Schumann, A. Dvorak and individual repertoire of students.
